Anil Awachat (अनिल अवचट)

(Bachat Gut/Paisaa Fund)

Account Holder : Ajit Bhat & Amit Yadav (cheque can be issued on either of these names)
SBI A/c No.: 30404480155
Branch Address : SPBB, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune.
IFSC code : SBIN0004357 (For NEFT transfer)

Idea:

We, primarily the members of Anil Awachat community (AAC) on http://www.orkut.com, have come together and to raise funds for SOCIAL CAUSE. Members will voluntarily contribute to the fund. Though,

  • This activity is not limited to the members of AAC.
  • The idea is that we regularly contribute to the fund, the serious promise everyone makes to himself/herself.
  • There’s no minimum or maximum limit for the contribution.
  • It is not mandatory that everyone on AAC should contribute. It’s not a criterion to become or remain AAC member.

How we intend to disburse the funds

  • As a principle, we will spend money to support the CAUSE/s.
  • The money will be donated to genuine person/people working for cause and is/are seriously active for that matter.
  • All AAC members are requested to suggest the names of such people/ organization.
  • There is no hard and fast rule whether to donate the money or to purchase material to support the cause. All AAC members are therefore welcome/ urged to send such requirements observed/found/requested by person/people/organization.
  • We welcome suggestions from all AAC members for the right disbursement of collected money.
  • The decision on money disbursement will be taken by a group of AAC members. This core committee will evaluate the individuals/organizations in need of funding.

How we will NOT spend the money

  • NO administrative cost will be debited to this account. Basically, we will not use a single rupee for any other work than decided by committee of AAC members or even for any related work viz. travel, stationery etc.
  • Giving donations to financially sound NGOs (registered or non-registered) is not a primary goal. We may donate but only after a decision is made by AAC committee members to do so. However this is not encouraged. Support to such NGOs can be done by active participation in their activities.
  • Donating to Prime Minister’s or Chief Minister’s fund.
  • Donating to News paper relief fund (The Times Fund or Sakal relief fund).
  • Praising students for their success in any examinations.
  • Financial support to students, to individuals setting up business or patients suffering from any disease or disorder.
  • Financial support to any events like Ganesh festival, sport events, exhibitions etc.
  • Doing random social activity like plantation before monsoon, gatherings, community meets, picnics etc.

Our commitment
Amit Yadav and Ajit Bhat have opened a joint savings account at State Bank of India (SBI), branch: SPBB, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune.

Bank Account Details –
Account Holder : Ajit Bhat & Amit Yadav (cheque can be issued on either of these names)
SBI A/c No.: 30404480155
Branch Address : SPBB, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune.
IFSC code : SBIN0004357 (For NEFT transfer)

  • We will make sure that there’s 100% transparency in all activities right from decision making to funds disbursement.
  • Account transaction details will be published on AAC forum periodically.

Ways to donate

  • We will be glad to have more of your involvement than just donations, so please get in touch.
  • Let us know if you wish to donate to this fund. An email to one of the core members is sufficient. You may directly deposit the money by Net-banking or by depositing cheque. Still, we appreciate if you drop an e-mail to any AAC committee member for better accounting and transparency.
  • Please write the cheque in the name of either ‘Ajit Bhat’ or ‘Amit Yadav’ and you can as well deposit it to the above mentioned SBI account number. You may use any SBI ATM center to do this.
  • If you have SBI account with Net-Banking facility, you can simply transfer funds to the above account.
  • If your bank lets you transfer the money using ‘NEFT’ (a RBI facility for fund transfer) you can use it. It will take 3-4 days to credit it to our SBI account.

We do not expect

  • We discourage your contribution in cash. Net-banking, cheque or Demand Draft (DD) is welcome.
  • Please do not expect the 80G (used to get Income Tax exemption) receipt for your donation. We are not a registered organization, for time being; at least not for the next two years. The idea is to work with basic understanding and mutual trust. We will make sure that there’s 100% transparency and account transaction details will be published on AAC forum periodically.
  • Dr. Anil Awachat is a nominee for the SBI AAC Paisa Fund a/c No. 30404480155. Please Note that Dr. Anil Awachat by himself or any of his family member is not responsible for any of the activities of AAC Paisa Fund.

Paisa Fund Beneficiaries

Amount Committed or Given – Rs. 2000 per month from Oct 2008 to March 2009 for kids’ evening snacks/food.
Amount Committed or Given – Rs. 3000 given in October 2008, but we plan to increase this amount every month depending on the availability of funds.
